Infographic resumes (aka infographic networking resumes or executive value profile) are a modern and eye-catching format that can be used as a supplemental document in addition to your traditional resume. For example, you can include it as a downloadable document from your LinkedIn profile, you can use them as handouts at networking events, and bring them with you to an interview to be left behind with your interviewers.
Your infographic resume is NOT meant to take the place of your traditional resume. Instead, we recommend that you use it as a supplement to your full resume. There are two reasons for this. First, it is important to know that these documents are not ATS friendly. You should use an ATS-friendly resume whenever you apply for an opportunity. Second, most employers and recruiters need and want more detail than can be included on a one-page networking resume. The content should be selectively and strategically selected to hone in on only your most relevant and impressive skills, experiences, qualifications, and accomplishments. Infographic elements should be custom-created to call out key points, while text is used for other sections of your networking resume. In comparison, your traditional resume will usually be two and sometimes even three pages.
